CLOSED FOR NOW
Now that schools are open again, we have closed the library. But we are holding onto our inventory and will reopen if the situation calls for it.
We have loved serving the children of our community and thank you for your support!
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Just show up. Every reader can borrow up to five books. There's no library card and no checkout process. I trust you. When you're done reading, bring the books back for others to enjoy.
WHAT IF I NEED A BOOK RECOMMENDATION? IS THERE A LIBRARIAN?
Yes! Talking book recommendations is one of my favorite things to do. I'm happy to meet you on the porch and talk about books for you or your child, or if you're not actually coming over, to talk to you on the phone. Either way, send me a message to arrange a time.
WHAT IF I WANT TO KEEP A BOOK?
If you really, really like a book and want to keep it, that's fine. Just replace it with another book of similar quality. If you don't have a book to replace it with, make a donation and I'll buy a replacement.
DOES IT COST ANYTHING?
Nope! The library is entirely funded by donations -- from myself, from library users, and from others who just want to help out. You are free to borrow books at no charge. But if you wish to help us maintain and build our inventory of great books, you can make a donation.
HOW LONG WILL YOU BE DOING THIS?
Until schools start again or the public library reopens. After then, I will continue to maintain a much smaller Little Free Library in the front yard, which I hope you will use.
